😀It’s International Day of Happiness, declared by the United Nations. Here are some things I practice to amp up the good vibes.
– Pay it forward. Treat the person next in line to a coffee. This is Colleen. She is an attorney in the DA office. The coffee guy at Starbucks knew what she was ordering as she stepped up. She said it made her morning and now she is going to pay it forward to someone else.
– Hug someone. Ten seconds of a hugs releases oxytocin which is the hormone that makes ya feel connected.
– Meditate. My favorite apps are Aware and Headspace. I’m on a roll for 10 minutes a day. Hoping to access the breathing when I’m a stress ball.
– If all else fails, call your mom. Or call mine. Carol will pump ya up. ;D
